The first taste of Starkey's new The Ambient Zone EP, Earth, came out today in the form of the "Waters (Edit)". A few weeks ago, Starkey teased, "For years, 'Spacewalk', from Ephemeral Exhibits, was my most requested tune in sets. If you like that tune, I think you'll enjoy the next release."
For fans of that tune, "Waters (Edit)", feels like a continuation, eleven years later. The track features a 4 on the floor kick pattern with dark synths and concert music instrumentation.
Everyone will have to wait two more weeks for the 8 minute plus version of "Waters" to drop on the Earth EP.
